Sea Duck Hunting (Cast & Blast) Lower Niagara River and Lake Ontario offer some of the finest Sea Duck Hunting anywhere. All the shooting in pass shooting over decoys - most of the ducks are Old Squaw, White Winged Scoters, Blue Bill, Whistlers and Mergansers. There is always a lot of Duck with shooting lasting all day, not just a few hours in the morning. I strongly suggest you bring two boxes of shells per hunter. I also recommend 12 gauge 3 inch with an improved or modified choke. When we combine a day of duck hunting with fishing we call that Cast & Blast day. The Niagara River offers great Steelhead, Brown Trout & Lake Trout fishing.
